What crashed on to Roswell?

Hi.. Most of you know what Roswell is famous for; well basically it is a small town in New Mexico. On July 7, 1947 something unusual happened that transformed this sleepy town in to a popular destination for UFO lovers. Yes you got it the famous UFO crashing, the military claimed they had recovered remains of a crashed “Flying Saucer “. Soon it became the headlines in all major news papers. The very next day the US Army declared that it was not a UFO but remains of a crashed weather balloon. Were they really trying to cover up something or was it a mere balloon crash, whatever it was people were not ready to buy the story made by the government.
The locals surrounding the crash site claim that they heard a loud crash in the middle of the night and there are some who even saw some craft falling on to the ground with a great sound. These people were later visited by the Army personals and threaten them not to disclose to the public what they saw or heard. All this makes me to believe that something did happen that night and what that crashed was not just a weather balloon. However the crash site is not open to public, it is now a highly secured military base known as Area 51. God knows what’s happening inside.

The Taxi Ride

Hi.. I remember this episode which happened in New York few years back. I had to attend an interview around 10 am and I was already late. I had to catch a train and then reach the place by taxi. The train was crowded and I had no option but to stand, once the train reached the station I got down and rushed towards the exit. I got out of the station and I caught a taxi, I told the driver the address and asked him to get me there as fast as possible. He did his best and he took me through the heavy traffic as fast as possible, finally I reached the place.
I got down from the taxi and reached for my wallet, to my surprise I found that my wallet was not there. I seriously did not want to believe that I had been pick pocketed, I made a thorough check, but my wallet was not there. I remembered an old man who fell on me as I got down the train, I didn’t much attention as a was in a hurry. I am in real trouble now, I lost my wallet in a foreign land, have to pay five dollars for the cab and I have an job interview in ten minutes, Good Lord help me. I told the cab driver my position. I expected him to catch me by my collar and abuse me or something, but to my surprise he was cool about it and asked where I stayed, I gave him my address and requested him to collect it from me later. The guy gave me a smile he took the address, reached for his pocket and gave me ten dollars for my way back home. He wished me luck for my job and drove away. I expected him to drop by the next day, but he never came. I got the job and till this date I am searching for him to return his money but I never found him.

Miami Beach

Hi.. Last year I visited Miami, with few of my friends in college. It was an off season time, around May thankfully the beaches were not so crowed. Some of the locals suggested, that we go to the south beach which had many more attractions than the other. We reached the place sand, Crystal clear waters and women were inviting to the eyes. Once we reached there, our next objective is to find a good hotel to stay, this place had large grand hotels to smaller ones which were easier on the pockets, we decided to go to Doubletree Surf comber Hotel Miami which was closer to beach. The amenities in this hotel included a two thousand feet of private beach with umbrella /towel services.
After having a fun time in the beach, we went to Lincoln road for some shopping and some people watching, this place was a bit crowded with Art galleries, boutiques and shopping malls. We went back to our hotel and had a wonderful sleep after a great day in the beach. Next morning I woke up early and went to the News café which was open 24 hours and serves breakfast throughout. I had quick bite and went back to the hotel, after a great workout in the hotel gym, I was ready for the day we went to the beach and had a great time surfing. As the night approached, we head to the dance bar and had a great blast till midnight. We came back to the hotel, as we had to catch a morning flight back home. I will tell you for sure this is a great place to unwind.

McDonalds

Hi… I remember when I was a kid i used to go to McDonald every weekend. There was something special about this place, the Chicken McNuggets and the finger chips were one of my favorites. The arch and the big M always used to catch my attention. As I moved to a high school, we used to hang out there often not only because the food is cheap, you have a feel like home. We used to spend hours together, the countless birthday parties we used to over there, and the mess we would make out there still lingers in my mind.
The years I did my college, I had to move out of United States, I couldn’t go McDonalds because the place was far away from my collage and I had very many responsibilities I had to maintain a decent grade as I had to maintain my scholarship. After collage I had to work for two more years there and finally came back to my home in Arizona. Now even when I take my kids over there during weekends I see my childhood in my ten years old son. The place has not changed much it still has the welcoming feel when I enter it.

OBAMA WAS A SMOKER ONCE

It is an interesting fact to know that once upon the time, President Barak Obama, the current president of the United States was once and addictive smoker. However, he completely quit smoking and now encourages everyone to do the same. Having been a smoker once, he knows the difficulties that once must face while trying to quit but he encourages those who are trying by reminding them of the kids and our responsibilities towards them and building them a future they deserve. Also he is now debating on bills that give the FDA strong authorities and powers on the tobacco industry today.

Little Village Noodle House, Honolulu

Hi… When I think about Chinese restaurant, the first thing that comes to my mind is Little Village Noodle House in Honolulu. It gets a little crowded during the day and especially during the first Friday of every month. It is located in Chinatown, and has free parking behind the restaurant, the starters are really good. You should try the hot and sour soup along with Walnut shrimp, the best combination. The service in this place is faster than most restaurants you find over here. The menu they offer is lighter over your health as they use olive oil for most of their dishes. Of course Chinese dishes are oily but then, here in Little Village Noodle House they have it in moderation.
Don’t forget to reserve your table in advance as this place is bound to crowded during weekends. The most important factor about this place is its faster service, cleaner surroundings and they have large varieties of vegetarian food. Since most restaurant have less preference over vegetarian foods. Last but not the least don’t forget to try out the Deserts they offer they are heavenly.

Arlington Theatre

Hi.. Have u heared about Arlington Theatre?? This is one of the best movie places in America, designed in Spanish styled interiors and can seat up to 2ooo at a time. I recently went to this place for a movie with my girl friend; I was stunned by its architecture and its looks. After I got the ticket, I went towards my girl friend who was waiting for me in the courtyard, this place had old Spanish based villas with lanterns and other things. The ceiling is studded with stars gives you a feel as if you are walking along the country side at night.
I was completely in to it, It was such a romantic feel we forgot about the movie and gazing at each other for a long time. We completely lost the count of time and later realized that the movie had already begun. We missed the first twenty minutes of the movie, damn it. This was one movie I was waiting for it to release; I did not want to see the movie in DVD. I wanted to see the movie in full effect; we rushed towards the movie complex and I am finally in. Man the sound effects were so cool, you could feel the vibration in every gun shots I had a rocking experience of my life and I am coming back to this place again. Don’t miss it guys.
